The Mountain Lake PBS and Plattsburgh Housing Authority Media Lab proudly presents the premier of:

UNLESS A DEATH OCCURS
 
A stirring documentary about hazing, chronicling the tragic events that led to the death of a Plattsburgh State student in March 2003.
 
The film was shown on May 26th at 8pm on MountainLake PBS. MLPBS is received in over 1.6 million homes throughout northeastern New York, western Vermont, eastern ontario and Southern Quebec (including Montreal and Quebec City).
 
If you would like to see this documentary, contact your local PBS station.The film is going national beginning October, 2004. It has been picked up by 57 PBS stations across the country including NYC, LA and San Francisco to name a few.

This film has been made in conjunction with Mountain Lake, PBS and The Plattsburgh Housing Authority in response to the death of a Freshman, Walter Dean Jennings, on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus in March of 2003. This tragic story is the starting point for a deeper look at hazing as a national problem. The film includes interviews with the fraternity brothers of the former Psi Epsilon Chi as well as author, Hank Nuwer and  Dr. Elizabeth Allan, co-creator of www.stophazing.org among others.
