StopHazing and HazingInfo are building a research-to-action initiative where research reveals what works to prevent hazing, transparency makes hazing visible, and accountability drives change and saves lives.
The Hazing Prevention Research Lab, at the University of Maine, in partnership with StopHazing, leads the nation in conducting research about hazing and its prevention and working to develop the evidence-base for effective prevention practice to build healthy groups and communities.
The Hazing Prevention Consortium©™ (HPC) is the multi-year research-to-practice initiative to support colleges and universities in campus-wide hazing prevention while also helping to build an evidence base for hazing prevention. The HPC is guided by the data-driven Hazing Prevention Framework, the only research-based framework for hazing prevention.
